I have a passion (or maybe it's an obsession!) for fresh design and comfortable living. As a wife and mother, I believe homes can be extraordinarily decorated and functional at the same time.... even with a tiny budget, kid's muddy shoes, and rogue crayons.
Art has always been a great interest of mine, so it was only natural that my desire grew from working as a graphic designer to include interior decorating. During the past seven years of marriage, my husband and I have moved seven times. We would find an investment house to purchase, move in, restyle the house, then rent or sell the house, move out, and start over again. This experience provided continuous opportunities for me to design and decorate, having children provided a new perspective on practicality, and helping family and friends unlock the potential in their homes inspired me to create Libbie Grove Design.
Most of my designs incorporate re-purposed and restyled furniture, handmade pieces, and art created at my kitchen table. While my creations continue to evolve with new decorating ideas, transformed furniture pieces, art, and lots of flea market finds, I invite you to follow along with me as as I discover life in Texas, settle into a new house (house number seven), and transform each room into a stylish living space for my family. Along the way you'll also find a few random musings that peak my interest (some design, some ordinary life). My hope is to provide you with much inspiration...
I always love to hear from those who visit my site and consider each email a blessing, so thanks for stopping by and don't hesitate to say hello: info.libbiegrove@gmail.com
Happy designing....
