I arranged frames that were piled up after unpacking boxes from our move and placed everything from scrapbook paper to my son's paintings on the wall. Some of the artwork was placed inside the frames...
Others were simply tacked to the wall for a really casual look...
And, here's a full view of the wall gallery in his bedroom... you can view the process of how I arranged the art here...
Make sure to check back later today... I'll have a free printable available to download...

I LOVE your gallery wall! I started one in our mud room, and the frames are empty.... I think I will fill them today with art (heaven knows I have a ton!) Thanks for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteKristy, it's fabulous! Give yourself a pat on the back! I've done a few of these gallery walls and it is no simple matter. It's a lot of work. I am very impressed with your choices and layout. I am curious to know what the words say on the third photo down. SO happy to meet you. This has inspired me to do one in my own Son's room. Thank you millions!
ReplyDeleteI am popping over from the Gallery Wall party. I love seeing your work. (Mine is #10.)

ps. My favorite is the "m."
love it! I especially like the ones you tacked up. I use masking tape - not everything has to be framed! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comments :) I love gallery walls... so much style and personality!
ReplyDelete@Shan - the lengthy text in the frame on the right is words of a Coldplay song... there's a picture in the room of my husband and son playing around while they were singing the song, so I thought as a reminder I'd type up the words and frame it.
WOW - I am impressed. This looks so good! I might steal a few of these ideas...
