I spray painted the
kid's chairs around the activity table a few weeks ago and just yesterday spray painted the
Marius stool from
Ikea. I bought the light, pink colored stool (for only $5.99!) and thought it deserved a little
raspberry update so it's a better fit for the playroom. The playroom colors are much deeper, more like dark pink, turquoise and black. So, this little stool is about to get a makeover.
I took it outside, sprayed two coats of primer-
Zinnser Bin, then once it was completely dry, I sprayed about three coats of
Krylon's Raspberry Gloss.
And now..... a perfect color! And a perfect fit, whether at the table or in front of the bookshelf....

ReplyDeleteThere are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
